Reading

Reading is a wonderful way to learn. Although school was great, I don't think I learned all that much. Although I do not claim to know a lot, whatever I do know came primarily from books and magazines. Here is a list of some of the material I have read. Whether it is a book, magazine article, or pamphlet is indicated by standard methods of citation.

First, a 'short-list' of some of my favorite magazines:

Scientific American - a great monthly publication with a clear bent on physics.
Popular Photography - not too many articles of interest, but great for the advertising!
Aviation Week and Space Technology - weekly news on the aviation industry.
Christianity Today - select articles by great Christian writers.
Israel My Glory (IMG) - writing from a Jewish perspective. Invaluable if you love eschatology!

I gave up on all the PC and computer magazines that used to be great publications, because the content went down while the price went up. After 10+ years of Windows, all they can come up with is 'top tips.'

You can browse most of these publications at your local public library or subscribe to one at nominal cost.
